- Even if Shakespeare calls her Kate (probably because she shared her name with Elizabeth I and yup you cannot name the wife of a traitor just as the Queen), I decided to pick her historical name, aka Elizabeth, mostly to not have any confusion with Katherine of Valois. And for historical reasons, really. Still, if you bring me a Hotspur from the Henriad, he can totally call her Kate. (It's Lady Percy to the rest)
- Even if we do not know the state of their marriage, I like to have it be a genuinely loving marriage, just as Shakespeare portrays it. Or at least very loving from her side.
- This being said, I also like the idea of her not remarrying, unlike her historical counterpart. (Maybe could be open to some AUs where she does, but we'd have to discuss that)
- She also has a son and a daughter.
- She also happened to be imprisoned not long after her husband's death. (And honestly, I WOULD LOVE to explore that part of her life, so any Henrys? (Both IV and V), you are totes welcomed to thread with her about this)
- More tba.
